Holiday season is busy at the best of times, but current circumstances have pushed the freight infrastructure in Australia to its limit.
We predict this year will be particularly busy. All freight carriers are currently under heavy pressure, and this is only going to increase as we enter into the busiest part of the year.
As you know, our team at In Any Event are very quick to process and dispatch orders, however, once they have been dispatched and in the hands of freight carriers, we have little control over freight times, ETAs and possible delays.
This year it’s more important than ever to plan ahead and dispatch time-sensitive Christmas deliveries as early as possible and understand that delays out of anyone’s control may occur.
The following table suggests the domestic dispatch dates for each capital city that will provide the best chance possible (external circumstances aside) that your delivery will reach its intended destination in time for the big day. We cannot guarantee any delivery times during this unpredictable period.
Sydney – 15th Dec
Melbourne – 15th Dec
Brisbane – 13th Dec
Adelaide – 18th Dec
Hobart – 8th Dec
Canberra – 15th Dec
Darwin – 1st Dec
Perth – 8th Dec
PLEASE NOTE:
- Deliveries booked after these dates may still arrive in time, however, cannot be guaranteed.
- The above information is a guideline only and is subject to change as a result of unforeseen incidents and circumstances that are beyond our control.
- Dates may be updated based on feedback from the freight carriers.
- As this is an extremely busy time of year, we recommend that you place your pre-Christmas orders as early as possible.
